These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by ND Electrical. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any work or service request.


1. General Information

ND Electrical (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a registered electrical services company that provides electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Our services are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

By using our services, you (the “Customer”) agree to be bound by these terms, including any amendments made by ND Electrical from time to time. If you do not agree with these terms, you should refrain from using our services.


2. Services Provided

We provide a wide range of electrical services, including, but not limited to:

  • Electrical installations & upgrades

  • Electrical maintenance & repairs

  • Fault finding & troubleshooting

  • Lighting design & installations

  • Emergency electrical services

  • Electrical compliance and safety inspections

  • Industrial, commercial, and residential electrical services

The full scope of services will be discussed and agreed upon before commencing work, and we reserve the right to make changes to service offerings when necessary to improve our service or meet regulatory requirements.


3. Quotation & Pricing

  • Quotes and Estimates: ND Electrical provides free estimates and written quotations for all work, which may be subject to changes based on the final scope of work and any unforeseen issues encountered during the service. Once the quote has been agreed upon, it is binding for the duration of the project.

  • Pricing: Our pricing is transparent, and we provide a detailed breakdown of costs before any work begins. All costs are outlined in the quotation, and any additional charges will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

  • Hourly Rates: Where hourly rates are applicable, the rate will be specified in the quotation. Charges are calculated based on time spent on-site, travel, and materials used.

  • Payment Terms: Payments are due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, and cheque.

  • Late Payments: If payment is not received by the due date, ND Electrical reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue sums at a rate of 2% per month. We may also suspend any ongoing work until payment is made.


4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access to Property: The Customer agrees to provide us with the necessary access to their property at the agreed times for the purpose of performing the work.

  • Accurate Information: The Customer must provide all relevant details and information necessary for the correct and efficient completion of the work, including details of existing electrical systems or any potential hazards that may affect the work.

  • Health & Safety: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that any pets, personal belongings, or hazardous materials are moved or secured prior to our team arriving on-site. ND Electrical is not liable for any damage to property or injury caused by failure to comply with this requirement.

  • Permits & Regulations: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals have been obtained for any electrical work, where required by local laws or regulations.


5. Changes to Work

  • Additional Work: If additional work is required during the course of the project, beyond what was initially agreed upon, we will discuss any changes in scope and provide an updated quote for approval before proceeding.

  • Cancellations: If the Customer wishes to cancel or postpone the work, we ask that notice is provided as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Delays: While we aim to complete all work on time, ND Electrical is not liable for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather, material delays, or issues outside of our control.


6. Warranty & Guarantees

  • Workmanship Guarantee: ND Electrical guarantees the quality of workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion, subject to normal wear and tear. If any issues arise within this time frame due to faulty workmanship, we will correct the issue at no additional cost.

  • Materials Warranty: We use high-quality, reputable materials and equipment for all work. The warranty on materials is governed by the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Any issues with materials must be reported directly to ND Electrical, and we will assist in handling warranty claims where applicable.


7. Liability

  • Liability for Damages: ND Electrical will take all reasonable steps to avoid damage to your property while carrying out the work. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing issues that are discovered during the course of work. We will inform you promptly of any such issues, and we may recommend solutions to resolve them.

  • Indemnity: The Customer agrees to indemnify ND Electrical against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the Customer’s negligence or failure to comply with the terms outlined here.

  • Limitation of Liability: ND Electrical’s liability is limited to the cost of the services provided and does not extend to any indirect or consequential loss, including business interruption or loss of profit.


8. Privacy & Data Protection

ND Electrical is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and handle transactions. Any personal data provided will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, ND Electrical will make every effort to resolve the issue amicably. If an issue cannot be resolved informally, we encourage the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services. If necessary, legal action may be taken, with jurisdiction lying within the courts of [Region/Area].


10. Force Majeure

ND Electrical will not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or unforeseen disruptions.


11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland & EU
